What is a moldograph? What is moldography?

A moldograph is a combination of the words "mold" and "graph." It was apparently coined by Ira Waxberg to describe photographic slides from the 1960s and 1970s that he and his father had found in their home. He presented them as found art without restoration in Tokyo from 2006-05-16 to 2006-05-21. [1]

This process of molding was also used by Nobuyoshi Araki and presented in his "Self. Life. Death." show at the Barbican gallery in London, England.
