I probably won't get to it, but if anyone checks it out I'd be interested in feedback. =steve= --- Date: Mon Feb 27 15:27:33 1995 EST From: du@du.org (Kristine@DiversityUniversityMOO [#3433]) Subject: text from CED ad (#7391) To: clb7866@ritvax.isc.rit.edu Message-id: <199502272027.PAA03293@trystero.radio.com> X-Mail-Agent: Diversity University MOO (moo.du.org 8888) I would like to introduce another resource for those interested in the regions of Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union specifically in the area of economic development. The Center for Economic Development has been designed to act as a catalyst in bringing about more discussion and problem solving through collaborative efforts. The Center for Economic Development at Diversity University offers amoung other things a single unique place to which academia, organizations, business's, and individuals can connect to from all over to interact in real time. CED offers the ability for a virtually unlimited number of users to meet online while at the same time being able to access such tools as the World Wide Web, Gopher, Veronica as well as having it's own internal e-mail system. There are also pre-programmed objects that allow for recording and mailing discussions, for making slide presentations, tutorials etc.. all under one roof. To connect to the center telnet to du.org 8888 once there follow directions to connect as a guest (connect guest). Then type @go #3584 this will take you to the area (room) in which the center is located. The center is located on a MOO. Upon request a more in depth tutorial will be sent showing how to move around and interact within this environment. For more information or if there are problems connecting write to either of these two people.
