Sender: owner-Hungary-Online-announce@hungary.yak.net Precedence: bulk Reply-To: Hungary-Online@hungary.yak.net Hello All - Some of you may have received multiple copies of Strick's posting "foreign radioamateurs in Hungary". We're not sure why that happened, but things seem to be back to normal. According to Strick, "the Yak burped". Anyway, to remind everyone - I'm currently using the HOL-A channel to define and focus interaction on the HOL list. I welcome feedback by private email. Meanwhile, here are a few guidelines for posting: What is on/off topic for HOL? ----------------------------- Look at the words "Hungary" and "Online". Where those two words intersect you'll find the hungary-online list. It's pretty simple. That doesn't mean we're not flexible. For example, I'm also interested in online-happenings in Poland, the Czech republic and elsewhere. If your interests stray slightly you can give the list a try. But remember, hungary-online has a purpose. HOL is an incubator for the online scene in Hungary. We need activists. We need people who understand this medium and are ready to help build it. It's no tragedy if the list is quiet for a few days. There's not always something going on. The call is out "for more signal, less noise." I don't have the time to moderate the list by approving or rejecting individual messages each day. That would slow down the list, and probably stifle creative input. But I will continue to focus the list with comments from HOL-A, and I'll give you feedback if I feel a posting is particularly off-topic.
