Multiple positions available in the following areas: Software Design Engineer in Test: Design, develop and implement applications to verify the systems level functionality of Window NT/Cairo. Requires deep knowledge of operating systems, the ability to see imperfections in the source code and their effect on the entire system, solid C/C++ coding- no one tests the testers code, and an ability to see what others have overlooked. If you are good at puzzles and love a challenge, you will enjoy these development positions. Areas of focus include Networking, OLE, RPC, and the kernel. Performance Software Design Engineer: These highly visible positions require a deep understanding of operating systems and experience with systems level performance issues. Solid C/C++ coding is requires, knowledge of a multitasking operating system is required, with NT strongly desired, and actual performance experience is preferred. Quick Fix Engineer: Identify and debug source level code. This position requires excellent C/Assembly coding, debugging skills and an indepth knowledge of networking. In this position you have the opportunity to have an immediate impact on our best customers and on our product. There is a very fast turn around time, so being tenacious and having a strong ability to not just identify but to actually write the bug fix is required.
