The above information shows that a test packet you sent went out to the US and back before it reached the iSYS server here in Hungary. I agree, that's inefficient. iSYS already has ordered a leased line to the Hungarian H-bone. When it is installed that will mean iSYS users sending mail to Hungary or using local resources won't have to connect through the US. That will happen soon. However Tamas, the topic of this list is not specifically iSYS Hungary. And I'd prefer our communication have a bit more content. :-) Many readers may not know you're involved with XS4ALL, a project that aims to establish a public access Internet provider - based on the XS4ALL project in Amsterdam. In fact, you've recently been to Amsterdam. Is anything interesting happening? I'd be interested to know how far the project has come. Remember, you might find a few supporters on the list, too. =steve= --- Steven Carlson iSYS Hungary steve@isys.hu ############# # This message to Hungary-Online@hungary.yak.net # was from steve@isys.hu (Steven Carlson) # # To unsubscribe, # send "unsubscribe" to # An announcement-only subscription (less volume) is available # at # Send mail to for more information, # or to if you need human assistance. #############
