As Steve Carlson once told me," put your money in a bank, not a baahnk." I have an account with OTP and was told that I couldn't cash cheques for over $100 at one branch. Another branch told me that they would have to send the cheque back to the bank in Prague where it originated to approve the withdrawal of money. Of course, a fee would be subtracted. When it arrived back to OTP, there would be another fee. The whole process is said to take a month. I don't know about you but I'm not that patient. I'm sending the cheque to my bank account in the U.S. Of course, there are always money transferrs, costly for the sender, but faster for you. Good luck, Jennifer C.
