I was able to order a translation of Radnoti, and its really powerful. (Also there are four or five poems by Radnoti in a book of Holocaust poetry that is easy to find.) I don't have the bibliographic reference handy, but there is one book of Petofi listed in Books In Print, and I ordered it, but the publisher didn't have any more. I haven't started searching libraries yet, but I will eventually. (I'm in san francisco now. I could also read french or german. I do have books by all these I brought back in Hungarian, but it'll be a long time before i can read them...) anyway, i welcome pointers & advice. thanks, strick oh, also i have a bilingual (paralel) book of Babits (sp?) Mihaly, that seems to be one of a series, but I didn't find others in the series. ############# # This message to Hungary-Online@hungary.yak.net # was from strick -- henry strickland # # To unsubscribe, # send "unsubscribe" to # An announcement-only subscription (less volume) is available # at # Send mail to for more information, # or to if you need human assistance. #############
