			<comment><![CDATA[After landing in Osaka, we took a JR train to Kyoto, our first stop in Japan.  The train ride was about an hour.  ]]></comment>

The scenary along the railway was very rural and beautiful.]]></comment>

			<comment><![CDATA[We loved our Japanese-style hotel room.  It was like a spacious one-bedroom apartment without a door between the living room and the bedroom, minus the kitchen.  The floor was tatami mats.  The only furniture was the TV set, a small fridge, plus a low coffee table, that's it!  All the futon mattresses and quilts were neatly stacked away in the closet.  ]]></comment>

			<comment><![CDATA[We wet up Niles' futon bed against the way, and built a soft wall around it with pillows and quilts, so he does not roll out of his bed during sleep.  ]]></comment>

			<comment><![CDATA[Niles loves the coziness, and the easy access of the futon bed.  He would run around in the room, then walk into his bed to briefly cozy up, then play around again.  The other neat thing was as soon as he woke up, we were right there next to him.  Whereas at home, he sleeps in his crib in his own room.  We all enjoyed the family style sleeping arrangement and it was perfect for the vacation.]]></comment>
